Instead, the process was concluded almost immediately with a standard, automated rejection template. There was no opportunity to discuss my portfolio or experience, and no specific feedback was provided regarding the decision. It felt like a 'black hole' application process where candidate qualifications were overlooked by an automated filtering system.
