I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at McKesson (Calgary, AB) in Mar 2018
Interview
I have applied at Mckesson numerous times over the years and every once in a while a recruiter will call and ask a few questions. I have never been asked to have a personal interview in the Calgary area. In one case the recruiter email me for a time to set up a phone interview and I responded with the days I was available. I tried to reach this recruiter for four day with no response. She email me after the last message I left telling me she would phone me tomorrow and I never did hear back from this person. Mckesson truly need to refresh thier hiring process and maybe hire recruiters that are interested in giving people in the Calgary area a chance to go for a personal interview and secure a job. This is extremely frusterating. I have 10 year of warehouse experience as an pharmacy selector, merchansider and inventory control specialist and have never been given an opportunity to go further than a short phone conversation.
Interview was fairly quick. Talked with the warehouse supervisor and got a brief overview of the position and what it entails. Gave them a little info about me and once the interview was over I asked how quickly they want to fill the position. They told me once they found the right candidate.
