I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at McMaster-Carr (Santa Fe Springs, Los Angeles, CA) in Feb 2012
Interview
I applied through my university's career center website. Scheduled an interview. The recruiter was nice and not intimidating. The questions were pretty basic...off the top of my head I can remember the following:
- Why did you choose your school/major?
- What kind of career are you looking for?
- Walk through resume
- Something along the lines of what activity/accomplishment are you most proud of?
The recruiter got back to me in about a week saying I wasn't going to move forward in the process.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at McMaster-Carr (Aurora, OH) in Apr 2025
Interview
First round interview lasted around 50 minutes and was straightforward asking questions about group experience and general behavioral questions. Onsite interview was very structured and organized where they have a welcome, tour, project share, interview, lunch, interview.
