I interviewed at McMaster-Carr (Cleveland, OH) in Feb 2011
Interview
I handed my resume in at my school's career fair and got an email the next day for a phone interview. After my phone interview they paid for me to drive down to Cleveland for an on-site interview. It consisted of a tour of the facility, 2 1 on 1 interviews, and a lunch interview. What really turned me off from the company was the condescending and elitist attitude the management people had in the company. One interviewer actually questioned my choice of the major trying to reason with me about nothing he knew about. Another interviewer actually told me in my interview, "I forgot what I was going to ask you." This just made me seem nothing was organized in their interview process which really turned me off.
I applied through university. I interviewed at McMaster-Carr
Interview
Made it past phone call screening and had a one-on-one chat with a current manager before final round of interviews. Each round was 45 minutes to an hour long and questions were difficult. Have lots of examples ready. Have different answers ready for similar questions.

Interview
The interview process was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. I really appreciated that the discussions were fully behavioral, allowing me to naturally draw on my past experiences. Furthermore, the company truly goes out of its way to treat you like a VIP throughout the entire visit, covering a remarkably nice hotel stay and providing a generous stipend to ensure you are completely comfortable.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at McMaster-Carr (Chicago, IL)
Interview
One behavioral interview with a recruiter and then a day-long onsite interview at the Elmhurst IL location. Superday has two behavioral interviews, walkarounds and more but feels like you're being observed everyday.
