I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Media Matters for America (Washington, DC) in Jan 2019
Interview
The interview process was pretty straight forward. Initial email with MMFA expressing interest, quick 30 min phone interview about the position to see if we were a good fit for one another, skills test, an in person interview, and then granted offer.

Interview
I interviewed with MMFA late last year and was ghosted after two interviews which were a full month apart. I followed up with the interviewer three times and never received a response. I have a graduate degree and years of experience in research, and I guess I still wasn't worth responding to. It was completely disrespectful and a waste of my time, I would caution anyone who is applying to MMFA.

Interview
Very, very slow responses. I applied online through their site and received a followup after 3 weeks. They then wanted an in-person interview....a whole month later. Then I had to go through many intensive skills tests. I got no feedback and their responses were incredibly few and far between. They took me deep in the hiring process even though I tried contacting them to ask if I was even still being considered. I turned down other jobs waiting for this one because they kept assuring me, randomly and out of the blue, every 3 weeks that they "just needed one last thing." After leading me on a leash for over 4 months they finally decided to go with someone else even after telling me and my references I was perfectly qualified.
