Was okay - standard PhD questions (why a PhD, career goals) and a 10 min presentation on a research project and a lay summary of PhD project. Not too bad

I applied online and was invited to interview approx 3 weeks later. The interview was 1 month later. The interview was 30 minutes long including presenting some data I had been involved in followed by a panel interview of four academics. They were all very friendly. The interview was in Cardiff.

Interview
Firstly there was a panel interview to assess our critical thinking. Then the group leaders who were hiring gave a poster sessions to give the interviewees an understanding of what research is going on. Then 1 to 1 conversations with group you are interested in to decide which group is the best fit.
