Average in interview difficulty. On site presentation, business analytics interview, coding interview (easy to medium leet code], machine learning interview. Everyone I met with was really nice. Nice office in New York.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Meetup (Port Orchard, WA) in Sept 2022
Interview
After some emailing back and forth, I connected with the recruiter assigned to the role. We had an initial interview and I was told I would hear back about next steps. Communication was lacking and I would got 1.5-2 weeks without hearing anything. I was emailed an assessment with very little direction on a Friday afternoon and asked how soon I could get it completed. It was a busy work day for me so I replied that I would have it completed after work and I would email it back Friday evening so it would be available for review on Monday. After going a long period with hearing back, the recruiter emailed me and told me the hiring manager was moving forward with someone else. I did ask for feedback and was told I would get it but never heard back.
I’m not at all disappointed that I didn’t get the role as the communication was so bad but I decided it would be good practice for future opportunities. This was definitely an interesting experience.
I applied online. I interviewed at Meetup (New York, NY) in Apr 2022
Interview
The interview process was going well until I was given a faulty zoom link for the final interview. Both interviewers from the previous rounds and the initial recruiter ignored my emails to reschedule. In other words, I was "ghosted".
