Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on your interview experience with Mercer. We are disappointed to hear that you felt it wasn’t an inclusive and open process. Our diverse and inclusive culture is something that all of our colleagues take a great deal of pride in and something that we think makes Mercer a fantastic place to work.
As a global company with a Global Talent & Inclusion CoE, we are generally interested in any experience our candidates have both within and outside of the US, even if the role is US-based.
In terms of response to candidates who have interviewed with us, we like to take a personal approach with our recruiters contacting candidates directly via phone with a decision vs. communicating a decision through a traditional rejection letter. We apologize if expectations regarding our verbal response to you vs. a formal letter were not set.
Thank you again for sharing your thoughts and we wish you the best in your job search.
