I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Meridium (Roanoke, VA) in Apr 2015
Interview
The interview process was great. I was contacted by HR within just a few days after applying, and we setup a phone interview with the documentation program manager.
The initial phone interview schedule did not work out, so we rescheduled for a few days later. There were no difficult questions during the interview. It was mostly discussion about my past work experience, and I was asked to rate my ability with different Office applications.
In less than a week after the phone interview, I received an email with a schedule for an on site interview that would take place the following week. During the on-site interview, I met with two technical writers, the documentation program manager I had the phone interview with, and I also met with the software development manager. All of the interviews took place in a small room, which happens to be an old elevator shaft, over a period of 3 hours. It was more conversational than anything. I learned about the position and the teams I would be working with. The questions were behavior type questions and questions about my past employment.
As some employee reviews indicate, the building is truly amazing. This was one of the best interviews I ever had, and I think it would have been a great experience. Unfortunately, I was informed that I was not selected to move forward.
