Random call from out sourced HR that left a voicemail. Trying to reach that same person took time, because she ghosted me on a scheduled call and reappeared with lies as an excuse. Her message machine was highly unprofessional and is an embarrassment to Metlife. HR said ewwww once I was on the phone, as she knew I was an American born immediately. I had a sense I wasn't wanted based on my nationality. A recent review states that Metlife is driving out American workers and not hiring them, but are proactively hiring India foreigners. From HR's negative tone towards me, it aligns with the reviewer's observations. I've talked to several HR at this company, all unprofessional from India.
