I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at MetLife (Morristown, NJ) in Jan 2016
Interview
Applied through a contact at the firm. I went through a phone screen about two days later, and the interviewer asked me which positions I was interested in. I got a confirmation email that I was moving on to the super day which was scheduled for a few weeks later. During the super day, I interviewed with 5 people, a few from each team with an open intern position.
Thank you for writing a review about your interview experience with MetLife. We take the feedback we see on Glassdoor to heart and we’re so glad it all worked out for you and us. We wish you all the best in your role here at MetLife.
It was a smooth process. First it was a Phone screening then if you move on you get a teams interview with a director or VP of whatever department your applying for
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Star questions as well as proficiency in Microsoft office and to rate it.
Behavioral, very standard. That was it, asked me some very light conceptual questions but nothing insane. They asked stuff like “how would you learn a new language” and “how do you work in a team”.

full day of interviews. Started talking with an actuary, then met with younger assoiciates, and someone in the investment department. By the end of the day I was ready to leave and never come back.
