I was virtually interviewed by a random contractor lady out of Ireland. It felt so strange having someone from Ireland interview me for the role based in the USA and she had no connection to the US or division however she was very kind. I felt like it was some type of quota interview.
The role would have covered supporting MetLife P&C Independent Agencies remotely and virtually across the country.
She gave a goood interview with respectable and fair questions about work experience, industry expertise, and results. However Metlife’s process and follow up from the interview was embarrassing. The Ireland department never communicated with the contracted US department and I feel like my candidacy fell through the cracks and they wasted a lot of time.
Every US Employee/contractor was terrible at responding to my follow ups while the Irish lady was amazing but she wasn’t a real decision maker. We had several great exchanges and she was definitely a real person.
Overall the interview itself was average but their HR departments and divisions need to communicate more efficiently with candidates without wasting peoples time.
On a final note, I almost forgot, I greatly appreciated their taleo platform and personal assessment questionnaire. They give you a personality test and it helps you understand your character traits and personal strengths. This was very helpful so I could speak their language and understand my strengths as they relate to the role.
