Metagenomi interview questions

Schedule through a recruiting agency. Recruiter asked basic questions of availability to work, my background and related work experience and provided some background on the company and hiring manager and high level expectations of role and responsibilities.

Disgrace! The position was posted as Senior QC Scientist through a staffing company "Life Science People", but in phone screen they said this is a part time 1 month contractor position with 40 hours/month, as consultant for platform method validation. The interview with hiring manager was all about the details because they don't have the expertise and wanted to steal information through interview. In fact, the whole process is to steal information through a fake job posting. In the end, of course no offer and the staffing companied replied the position was cancelled.
