      Operations Manager Interview

      18 Feb 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Calgary, AB
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Metrie (Calgary, AB) in Dec 2021

      Interview

What a joke. Very unprofessional. The process involved three interviews over 10 weeks, and the company just ghosts candidates. In an age when qualified candidates are actively interviewing with several organizations, communication is critical. Being responsive, and being timely are also critical. Candidates, especially in management, almost always have other options. The process was far too long, far too drawn out, and communication throughout was terrible. To ghost a candidate after three interviews is the epitome of a poorly run organization. At least have the decency to provide feedback, or at the bare minimum, a 'Sorry, but we've decided to go with another candidate' email.
