Sat down and had to explain my background and why I was wanting the role. Talked about meeting KPIS. I was then given an overview of the role and what a typical day looks like. Was explained there is a very good training structures.

At first I was instantly declined an interview via my cv and e mail application which I submitted direct to the company website, I was instantly declined even though I have over and above the experience required, I asked why and I was then given a phone interview, with an Indian HR lady , after I had the phone interview, she had said she would put me down for an expression of interest if any roles were to come up , 4 weeks later a role came up and is still currently advertised but she’d never contacted me .
The phone interview was only based on sakes figures on my current job ! In which is a total different industry,and have I ever performance managed anyone out .
Nothing positive
I never heard back , I feel this is because of my ethnicity every Michael Hill store seems to hire Indians or Asian only now , is this because the head of HR is Indian, anyway I feel it’s unfair disappointing and I never had any follow up as promised
