Initial touchpoint with a headhunter. The role is technical and he rather focused on very awkward people skills as if the role were to be about human resources. Technical interviews went well but the company is trying to cut corners, diminish the role yet expect it to wear multiple hats without actually offering a similar compensation to roles in upper management that aren't delivering anything, and not disclosing their internal development issues. Red flag after some hints were given that layoffs are the norm if you don't fill the expectations. Typical Chinese mindset company of exploiting people, making low quality and unsafe products, and nepotism.
