I am sorry that you did not enjoy your interview experience with us. We will continue to work to incorporate feedback from candidates, with the goal of continual improvement of the interview process and candidate experience.
Our Talent Scouts are your guide through the interview process and are always available to speak with to answer questions about the process, the job being applied for, or working at Miles IT in general. Our intention with our interview process is not to be impersonal or to have our candidates feel they do not have contact they can reach out to. Many candidates find this initial step to be convenient.
Our questions on the video interview are designed to help us get to know our candidates better. We feel like asking guided questions such as "How did you like high school?" helps candidates with a speaking point better than just broadly asking "Tell us about yourself." Many candidates choose to use that opportunity to just tell us a little about their background and what got them started with a career in technology.
