I originally applied for the Sales Associate position being that is what they're most known for hiring. I applied online and also emailed the recruiter, Crista, who I had met previously. She got back to me quickly to schedule a phone interview. Went through with that where she asked some very basic questions about MINDBODY and my sales experience and technical skills. She sensed that I might be a better fit for a more technical role combined with sales, which I certainly agreed with, so she began talking about a new Sales Engineer position that was opening up. She said she would get back to me soon to schedule an interview. Eventually I got that scheduled and went in to meet with two people, one Sales Engineer and the head of the Sales Engineer team. Interview went well, they seemed to like me and I had Salesforce.com experience which is mainly what the position entails. The guy ended up telling me "you should work here, whatever it is." I followed up with both and the recruiter to thank them. Eventually I asked for an update from the recruiter and the main guy, in which he got back to me saying Crista would follow up with me soon. I didn't hear anything for another week or so and sent her another email - nothing. Not sure if they ended up hiring another person (I would have been the 3rd Sales Engineer) as they did mention they were working out the logistics of the position, but receiving some actual word back from them would have been nice. I enjoyed my interview, love the company and the culture, but they certainly lacked some professionalism when it comes to responding to their candidates. I've heard several of my friends and peers complain about never hearing back from them; just letting us know we didn't get the position is all it takes. I'd still recommend trying to work there, however.
