      Customer Care Interview

      24 Jun 2014
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at ModCloth

      Interview

I heard back after submitting my application within about a week, to come in for an interview. I was told to bring a copy of my resume and dress comfortably, no need to be formal. When I arrived for the interview though, I found out that it was a group interview, with about 7 other people. It went well, but throughout the process I found it to be very impersonal, as I felt my answers had to compete with the other interviewees, and it was just overall really uncomfortable.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

There weren't any difficult questions. It was mostly just an unexpected method for hiring to be in a room with 8 other people trying for the same position. The question would be asked, then we'd go in a circle answering.

      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at ModCloth (Pittsburgh, PA) in Apr 2013

      Interview

I heard about an opening with ModCloth in their customer service department and decided to apply. I was asked in for a group interview with about 8 other potential candidates and asked questions in a round-robin style. We then had a brief mock chat and phone call session to see how we would actually handle a real situation. I felt comfortable doing this and if talking to people to resolve situations comes naturally to you, this is the perfect job!

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Talk about a time when you went above and beyond to provide uncommon service to a customer.

      5 May 2014
      Anonymous employee
      Pittsburgh, PA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at ModCloth (Pittsburgh, PA) in Jun 2011

      Interview

It is a lot easier if you are referred by an employee there. HR does take forever to get back (about 2 months) you are given a written test that you edit on your own, and email back. Once you pass that you come in for an interview (most likely a group interview). Depending on the time of year (holiday or not) you should receive a phone call from HR letting you know within a week or so.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Just typical customer service questions. Examples of when you excelled in customer service, what customer service means to you (a tear jerking story would be the best), when you had a customer service experience that had a positive or negative impact to you.
