I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Modell's Sporting Goods in Jul 2013
Interview
I was interviewed once and by two managers. They were both very nice. However, only one of the managers asked me the questions. He asked the generic questions like "why do you want to work here", "tell me about yourself", etc. The interview took about 5-10 minutes and was very easy. They called me back about a week later offering me the job. The process of getting paperwork done and going through training was quite quick.

I interviewed at Modell's Sporting Goods (Churchill, PA)
Interview
Bad environment. It was okay but definitely not the best experience I’ve had in retail. Hours are way too long and management was okay but could’ve been better. Great experience but would never go back again

Less than 5 min pretty simple, everything was easy they just ask you basic questions, and ethics questions, to find out what would you do in case major things happen
