      Sales Engineer Interview

      4 Jun 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Modern Treasury in May 2025

      Interview

Overall they had me do a screening, 1 on 1 interviews, and a 4 hour virtual onsite that required me to take last minute vacation from my normal job in order to complete. They ultimately ghosted me until I followed up 2 weeks after the presentation which they told me I didn't get the job. This felt extremely unprofessional given that I had interviewed with them over a lengthy 6 week process and they promised to keep me informed.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They asked me mostly situational questions about what I would do in scenarios and I did a 4 hour virtual onsite with a presentation of what I was selling as well as individual interviews. It was probably 6-7 interviews total which didn't include the final 2 C level interviews after the presentation.
