The interview consisted of all behavioral questions with 4 panel members and the hiring manager. Moderna rescinded my offer two months after extending it. Communication from the recruiter was disingenuous and felt dishonest/manipulative. The fact of the matter is that in Q2 2023, Moderna was posting requisitions which were not approved from a budget and capacity standpoint. They have wasted candidates time and effort by extending (detailed) offers and stringing me along for 2+ months, all to suddenly rescind the offer. My recruiter asked me to withdraw all other job applications upon making the verbal offer, aligning on a start date and spelling out a detailed compensation breakdown. This was all smoke and mirrors because there was no ability for them to hire. So I was then entirely ghosted by everybody but the recruiter who kept telling me to wait. Overall, an experience which gave me a sense of dealing with dishonest and untrustworthy people.
