Modernist Financial interview questions

The interview process was initially pleasant, until the Founder and Lead Financial Planner Georgia Lee Hussey, showed her true colors. It consisted of four rounds - a phone interview, a team interview over Zoom, an interview with her HR Consultant over Zoom, and a final in-person team interview followed by a 1-on-1 dinner with the Founder. The Founder told nothing but lies during the process. The first red flag was her refusal to be forthcoming about the salary range for the position on the job description and during the initial interview rounds. Once she finally offered the info (after I politely pleaded with her during a phone call), I explained to her it wasn't within my range. Then she "massaged the budget" (her exact words) and subsequently offered to pay me more than my initial request (because according to her that's how badly she wanted me to work for her). She even offered a generous relocation package. She smoozed over the course of the two months and told me everything I wanted to hear until the final round dinner interview when she flew me out to Portland and pulled a bait-and-switch. Informed me that she was suddenly changing the job description by adding more responsibilities because I asked to be paid what I'm worth, and provided a spreadsheet with a bonus figure that was lower than what we had originally discussed. I highlighted this during that dinner. Once I flew back home, she called me claiming she couldn't meet any of my salary requirements, after initially agreeing to do so, then wished me luck. No apologies or explanation whatsoever. No sense of humanity or consideration of the fact that I had rejected other job offers during this process and began initiating plans to relocate to Portland for her firm. The Founder is a liar and if she treats potential employees like this, I can only imagine how her dishonesty and lack of integrity translates to how she works with clients. She could've been honest from the get-go that her company's AUM is not large enough to accommodate anything higher than an entry-level salary. Instead, for months she deceived me into believing she could meet my salary requirements, flew me out to Portland and had me meeting her friends from the city, got me emotionally invested, and talked a good game when she knew deep down she couldn't back it up. I would not recommend Modernist Financial to anyone I know (especially any women of color) looking to grow their career with a firm that is honest, ethical, and treats people with common decency and respect. The firm claims to be all about "intersectional feminism" when the founder has failed to address and manage her own overt racism. "Intersectionality" is nothing but a buzz word to this firm.
