I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Molex (Allen, TX) in Mar 2026
Interview
For this interview their was a phone screening with a hiring manager that was mostly behavioral to see if I was a good fit. Then just 1 more interview where they asked a lot about technical experience. They were most focused on python and experience with python projects, how to connect to hardware via python modules and such. There were 5 interviewers.
I was reached out by a HR to organise my first online interview. It lasted an hour. Then was invited for an in-person interview at Molex Singapore for around 2 hours interview.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Molex (Auburn Hills, MI) in Nov 2023
Interview
Interview process was straight forward but the hiring manager took offense when I told him I was still actively looking and had other interviews aligned for later dates. It's a fairly common thing to let hiring managers know in my opinion.. Especially when they ask you how urgently you might need a response regarding their decision on your candidacy. But when my third party recruiter reached out after the interview he said it made me seem condescending or over confident?? Either way, it was kind of weird. That was the first (and only) time I received negative feedback for that kind of thing.
