Molton Brown Retail Store Manager interview questions

Initially the area manager was really enthusiastic to interview me. Had my interview which was really good. I wasn’t called when she said she would call to tell me if I was successful or not. I didn’t get the job as another candidate had more experience. Even tho I have been a manager for 22 years and currently in a similar environment. I was encouraged to apply for this assistant manager role , which was not a vacancy when I had my interview , so I’m guessing that the assistant manager had been promoted. I told the interviewer I’d consider that position and would also like to be put forward for another position in a diff location. That was 2 weeks ago ... haven’t heard a single thing from The area manager. Very un professional I can see why they only have a 2.9 star review ... very disappointing
