The CEO reached out to me. He was cool. The company seemed to fit my values. We scheduled a technical assessment, which I did ok on. The CEO scheduled a follow-up but quickly reneged, asking to reschedule. He never followed back-up or answered my emails or messages. It's especially frustrating that that's the way they treat people when the company claims to be ethically aligned with the effective altruism movement. I was not given even the basic courtesy of a one-on-one rejection. I was totally ghosted after weeks of being strung along.
