The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Moog Inc. in Nov 2009
Interview
Just one interview, purely personality test, no technical stuff. it was a less that 30 minute interview.
Sample questions asked:
How do you work under pressure?
If hired, what jobs or tasks would you like to do?
What tasks don't you want to do?
What is your greatest achievement?
Some questions about your background too.
the interview process was great. great communication, easy enough questions - very surface level at first with the initial phone screen. it was then followed by a combined technical and behavioural interview.
1 on 1 interview with an engineer discussing technical qualifications. Asked general questions about my experience with the tech stack that they use. Asked about embedded systems and hardware. Overall a good experience even though I did not receive an offer.

Question 1
What is your experience working with embedded systems?
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Moog Inc. in Apr 2024
Interview
Applied through an employee referral two years in a row. Second year, applied through multiple employee referrals. Interviewed two weeks before the position was supposed to start and was told I was the only qualified candidate. A week later was told that they were pursuing more qualified candidates. I've spent a lot of time trying to get an internship with this company as they have worked with and helped provide funding for outside projects I have played an influential part in, but an individual who is barely qualified and has a family member working at MOOG gets an internship without even trying. I've been recommended by many current staff and my work has been passed along to higher-ups, and yet individuals who are less qualified are the ones getting the positions.
