I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Moon Active (Tel Aviv-Yafo) in May 2021
Interview
The first phone call was nice, then a standard test with SQL questions and A/B test questions. After the test, there was a general interview with some more in-depth questions.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Moon Active (Tel Aviv-Yafo) in Oct 2025
Interview
The process included several steps:
An initial screening call with a recruiter.
A take-home assignment focused on data analysis and business insights.
An interview with a Team Lead.
A second interview with another Team Lead and the Head of Product Analytics.
I was told there might be an additional interview with the VP Data.
Finally, an HR interview.
I was given several graphs showing users, number of spins, and dates – analyze possible behaviors based on the graphs.
Then, I had to write an SQL query to get the average total spins per user for each date.
The process included a brief phone screening, a 2.5‑hour home assignment with Excel KPI analysis and video explanation, followed by a simple SQL task to assess analytical and technical skills.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There was a short phone interview to check general fit, followed by a home assignment that was open for 2.5 hours.
The first part was an Excel question (1 hour) where they described an application, provided raw data, and asked to choose 2–3 KPIs, calculate them, and analyze the results—explaining what insights can be drawn and why.
The second part (1 hour) was a similar task, but with three Excel tabs containing additional graphs, again requiring KPI selection and analysis.
After that, there was a 12-minute video question where I needed to explain the analysis I performed in the first two tasks.
Finally, there was an SQL question, which was relatively straightforward.

Interview
I applied online. The first step was a ~20-minute phone call with HR, which included many questions about both my personal and professional background. Some of the questions were a bit unusual, such as whether I’m currently in other recruitment processes and what stages I’m at.
The second step was a 2.5-hour home assignment. It included interpreting graphs, suggesting relevant KPIs, and providing explanations both in writing and via a recorded video. There was also one SQL question.
One-hour interview with a team lead for a position at the Coin Master studio:
The first 30–40 minutes focused on my personality, professional background, tools I’ve worked with, and similar topics.
Analytical section - the interviewer drew a table on the whiteboard with three columns: user_id, date, and spins. I was asked to suggest several KPI's based on this data, interpret graphs, and answer one SQL question.
Overall experience: Very positive. The process was respectful, professional, and punctual.
