Morehouse College interview questions

Tell me about yourself and your tutoring/teaching experience. Why do you want to be a tutor? What subjects are you most comfortable tutoring? Why? How do you handle scheduling conflicts or late students? How would you handle giving feedback to a student (or parent) about weaknesses? What do you think makes a successful tutor–student relationship?

Interviewed with the department chair who seemed genuinely interested in identify the right candidate for the job. The chair answered all questions and even recommended others to talk to for more information. After the initial interview, I interviewed with the divisional dean, who was equally, if not more, thoughtful and engaging than the department chair.
