Well, there was none, which is why I am leaving a review.
I am actually currently an adjunct at a large university, teaching marketing online; I earned my M.S. online; served on the graduate faculty of a New York State college's Direct Marketing program for 2 years on the virtual campus; am certified in virtual andragogy; and have worked in marketing for 30 years. I applied to the adjunct pool to hopefully add another class. I received a generic rejection letter six weeks later, stating that I was not a finalist (i.e., did not even warrant a screening call), despite having sent transcripts of my graduate and undergraduate education, references, etc.
If my age (57) wasn't the reason, I have no idea what was, and while conjecture needs to be called out in academia, if nowhere else.
