Apache camel route based question and then asked to draw the previous set up of the project and general questions. Few people were asked to design the problem given to them.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Motability Operations (Edinburgh, Scotland) in Aug 2024
Interview
An initial 30 minute discussion followed by a take home technical test. If successful, there is a final interview to go over the test as well as additional questions.
I didn't get the the final stage as my work was rejected, despite completing the test. The feedback I got was vague i.e. "Interesting naming conventions for java classes". That comes across as someone having a bit of an attitude and personally I'm glad I didn't get the offer as I had a bad impression of them after the first interview and I feel they go through people quite quickly.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What's your experience with Java & React?
What do you do in your spare time (a bit of an asinine question to ask someone if not nosy)?
What kind of cloud systems have you used?
