I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Motion Recruitment in Nov 2025
Interview
I had a one-hour interview following a recruiter outreach. The interview itself was professional and informative, but unfortunately I did not receive any follow-up or feedback afterward, which made the process feel incomplete and lacking closure.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They primarily asked about the technologies used in their environment and how familiar I am with each of them, focusing on my hands-on experience and exposure to similar stacks.
Virtual call with recruiter then in person interview with client. process was easy and i would recommend to friends and family. found job through linkedin. process was smooth and had no tech issues
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Motion Recruitment (Irvine, CA)
Interview
Recruiter contacted me via LinkedIn. I was suspicious about this contact, but I submitted my resume anyway. Recruiter from Canada called me with a lot of background static, but the screen went well. She was pleasant and positive. A second screen with a local recruiter from Irvine was fine, but the young guy had a bad attitude. He gave me wrong details about a test I took with their client. He lied about it and made up more lies about the client’s rejection. Then, he defended the client’s position when I complained about the misinformation. The test threw me off due to logistics and misinformation. The Canadian recruiter was supportive, not the Irvine recruiter with the attitude I’m familiar with.
