I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Muck Rack in Oct 2024
Interview
Had initial pre-screen interview. The recruiter was pleasant and nice, however it was a very straight forward pre-screen. Not much conversation, almost robotic. I know there are standard questions to ask, but I am someone that likes to engage with another person, it's how I sell myself and it was obvious that wasn't going to get me through the first round. Knew as soon as I hung up.
Only advice to others, be fairly to the point in your answers.
While I would't consider the initial interview good or bad, the only true poor experience I had with this process was the automated email that I wasn't moving forward in the process. It was one of those emails you get back from an auto rejection after you submit the application. I had a conversation with a person, at least give me the decency of typing a real email.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What do you require in a manager to be successful?
How many years of experience do you have in customer onboarding?
How large of a team have you managed before?
Thank you for your feedback. We follow a structured interview process to ensure fairness and equity by asking all candidates the same questions, but we understand it can sometimes feel a bit robotic. We try to address this upfront at the start of the interview and will continue working to make the experience more engaging.
Given the volume of applicants we receive, we do use templated emails for notifications, but we always provide personalized feedback to anyone who requests it.
