Key Observations
The Team: The hiring manager came across as humble and easy to talk to. However, the engineer I interviewed with seemed somewhat disengaged during our technical discussion.
Environment: It is a typical startup atmosphere, which usually means high energy, but be aware that the salary ranges appear to be on the lower end for the industry.
Communication: The follow-through was poor. Getting "ghosted" the first time and then receiving a template rejection after a full loop the second time was disappointing.
