I recently had an online HR interview, followed by a second onsite interview with two Senior Consultants. This was one of the most unrealistic interviews I have ever experienced. The interview focused heavily on Linux commands and writing scripts, such as questions like “What columns can you see when running the top command?” These types of questions did not reflect real-world, day-to-day work. There were no scenario-based or practical questions at all. They also asked high-level Git command questions, even though nowadays most teams use UI-based tools to manage Git workflows, including merges and other operations. Overall, the interview felt very outdated and stuck in old methodologies, which I found quite surprising.

It includes multiple interviews, assessing both cultural fit and technical skills. A pivotal 3-hour technical interview focuses on specific technical abilities. Candidates face SQL questions, testing their proficiency in querying and database manipulation. Java-related queries evaluate their understanding of programming, object-oriented concepts, and potentially system design. The interview also explores database structure, assessing knowledge of design principles and schema optimization. Additionally, questions on functions check the candidate's ability to write and implement reusable code blocks in SQL or Java, essential for efficient programming

Online assessment: 57 questions some were MCQ, I had some subjective questions and questions where you have to write a code. I made the exam about 1 month ago, and I still have not heard from them.
