An initial 30 minute call. Ridiculous questions that made no sense . For example "you've been given 4 new roles to source, you've already spoken to the hiring manager, what is your strategy"
This is one of the worst questions I've ever been asked at interview. Too many variables to consider. No indication of what the roles even were. Proceeded to explain I'd pull data to help position my strategy. Was told they were brand new and there wasn't any data.
So essentially I answered this stupid question with a basic outline of what I'd do for any role.
Feedback was delivered by email and did not make sense. I was told I did not have enough experience in software or engineering recruitment when in fact I have over 10 years experience between both.
Was also told my salary wasn't in line with their budget, while in the same sentence being told what their top line was. This top line was exactly what I stated my minimum expectations would be, so I clearly wasn't being listened to.
Reached out for interview notes twice and was ignored so had to approach the head of recruitment.
Overall a terrible experience and I wouldn't apply for this organisation again.
