I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at NBCUniversal in Oct 2017
Interview
I saw the job posting online and had my friend who worked in the company pass my resume along. I had a phone interview with the hiring manager who asked me only a couple of questions so I thought they weren't interested but then they moved me forward to a 1:1 round with my potential peer. HR was extremely disorganized in the process and they forgot to tell me they had scheduled me for the 1:1. I found out when the interviewer emailed me to see if I was still coming. I followed up with HR (no apologies) multiple times before they finally rescheduled. I had a great interview with my peer but they ended up moving forward with an internal candidate who they probably had in mind since the beginning. The whole process is a poor and unprofessional reflection of the team and the company.

Question 1
Typical behavioral questions: Why do you want to work for NBC, what unique skills you would bring to team, etc
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at NBCUniversal (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
Exhausting process that spanned over 3 months. Lots of gaps in between rounds with no communication from the recruiter. Liked the people that I met when we did eventually get to new rounds. This job market is already painful enough, please be more considerate of candidate's time.

Question 1
Can you speak to a time when you experienced a failure and how did you handle it?
I applied online. I interviewed at NBCUniversal (New York, NY)
Interview
Prolonged. Long stints of no communication. Truly negative experience. Unprofessional recruiter. Don't know if hiring manager knew how awful the experience was and that it impacted desire to work for this company.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at NBCUniversal (Philadelphia, PA) in Dec 2023
Interview
Initially, I received an exploratory phone call from a network recruiter in New York. Then, he set up a Teams call with the person who would be my supervisor at the actual station.
