      Account Service Representative Interview

      5 Mar 2020
      Anonymous employee
      New York, NY
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at NBCUniversal (New York, NY) in Feb 2020

      Interview

Upon submitting me resume and cover letter, I was invited to skip the typical initial one-way video stage and they brought me directly on-site for my first round, which was encouraging. In person, I met with two managers and one director. Lasted 1.5 hours. What I liked is that they not only interviewed me for the role, but each took a substantial amount of time to, in a sense, allow me to "vet" them too; they each went over the scope of the role in detail, and opened the floor for lots of questions based on anything I wanted to know. Next, I was invited back for a two-in-one for the final round, in which HR was also included and I didn't have to come back a third time. I felt that was a good sign. Again, everyone was spectacular. 1.5 hours. Similarly, the conversations were a mixture of teaching me about the Ad Sales landscape and asking about my background. That was a Friday. They asked for references on Monday. I got an offer Tuesday.
