I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at NBCUniversal
Interview
I applied through an employee referral. About a week or so later I received an invitation to complete a video interview. There were 5 questions and I prepared by answering interview questions on glassdoor that were listed for this position. Luckily, all the questions i prepared for were on the interview.
About two weeks later I heard back about a 30 min interview w the hiring manager. It was pretty fast-paced, where they were just trying to ask as many questions to gauge if i really was a fit.
Less than a week later i was invited to meet with the multiple teams that had openings available. During this stage I met with 3-4 individuals for 30 min at a time totaling in 1.5-2hrs worth of interviews. This stage was slower-paced and more conversational. I was able to ask as many questions as i needed about the role/company. At this point they know you can do the job, they just are seeing if you are a fit with the team.
I loved both of the teams i met with and thought the conversations went well. After trying to follow up with HR about next steps, i was completely ghosted and never received an email offically telling me i had not received the position, instead i had to check the online portal to see i had not been selected. I understand HR can get busy but i feel all candidates deserve the respect (especially at that stage) that they have not been selected. Nonetheless, i had a great experience meeting with the teams and would have accepted the position had it been offered.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at NBCUniversal (Los Angeles, CA) in Apr 2023
Interview
I had an internal referral and only had a first-round interview, so I am unsure how many rounds there are! My first interview was a one-on-one Microsoft Teams 30-minute interview with a recruiter.

Question 1
Can you name a time when you agreed to do something at work when you had a lot on your plate already?
My interview was about 30 minutes. I had prepared myself for the role by researching the company as well as more in-depth on the role. This made the overall mood of the interview easy and comfortable.
