Skype Interview, only one round. Limited people get into the interview process. Very selective. But the final decision is made among committee members. But there is an open house before interview and open day after getting the offer.

There was no interview just an application. They have been trying to introduce interviews but when I saw the candidates it was quite the show. Anyway with or without an interview NYU Stern finance is a horrible place. Don't go there under any circumstances. Do something better with your life.

Submit your CV and GRE (TOEFL for international student) through online application system. NYU use Embark application system. Which is very inconvenient. The GSAS will process each application then forward to the each specific department. The department will notify their decision to the GSAS. And the offer letter will be issued to student by GSAS.
