I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Nanome (Lafayette, IN) in Nov 2020
Interview
I found out about them through my graduate school advisor and he recommended me for the position. Nanome reached out and I got a video chat with Keita Funakawa and Edgardo Leija, the COO and CXO respectively. They asked me some basic questions about my background and experiences. I walked them through a few projects that seemed relevant to Nanome. They sent me a VR headset to try Nanome out and prepare a presentation in VR. I went into VR with them, Sam Hessenhauer (CTO), and Steve McCloskey (CEO) and presented how I saw Nanome adding value to different projects I worked at Purdue. We had one more meeting after that where an offer was discussed and a timeline for my joining Nanome was figured out.
