I applied through university. I interviewed at National Grid
Interview
It was some behavioral questions and they asked me about questions concerning the core values of the National Grid. I was a freshman but I did have relevant experience so he did ask me about my work in ECE. He also asked me about what I would be doing and the head engineer was also sitting in on the call.

Question 1
What projects have you worked on?
What was a time where you showed initiative?
They make you play IQ test brainrot games where you need to remember letters, like Simon Says. Next, they make you do a zoom interview where they ask questions emphasizing their values. The interview process felt a little humiliating and corny to me. I also believe that they were a little late for my interview, which made me feel disrespected.

Question 1
How do you deal with unresponsiveness from a client?

I applied online. I interviewed at National Grid (Brooklyn, NY) in Mar 2026
Interview
After the initial application, you move forward to a hirevue round. After that is the interview. The Hirevue is a little hard because you aren't talking to anyone. The games are pretty easy, no need to stress about them.
