I applied for a seasonal park ranger position and had one phone interview. I was offered the position, but declined. The interviewer was not enthusiastic and seemed like she was just trying to fill a position at the last minute because she had to. Even though this was an interpretive "Park Ranger" job, it turned out they just wanted someone to staff the visitor center's main desk during an off-peak time of the year.
