Multiple phone interviews and final interview with CEO Alok. I made it to final round and in came the CEO. He turned off the lights for our small conference room. Guess he was trying to save the electricity bill. I found this entertaining. Throughout the interview of behavioral questions he seemed very disinterested and when I asked him questions toward the end, he gave me 1-2 word answers literally as responses! I asked him how soon do ideas come to life at Navatar off of previous related question and he said to me "quickly". It was his only reply. At the very end I was the one to signal him for a professional handshake as he didn't show any interest himself in shaking hands with me.
Considering my interview experience with the cofounders and the fact that all the nicer reviews for the NYC office here on glassdoor are written around the same date, I declined the offer. I have little confidence in CEO's interest in meeting with talented individuals for the company he cofounded and demonstrating the most basic professionalism toward them.
