Neal Analytics interview questions

I interviewed for a data scientist position. I had the initial recruiter call, went great, then a technical interview. The technical interviewer was very monotone and seemed disinterested in what I had to say. After that I heard nothing for a while, even after multiple attempts. Finally after almost two weeks I find out someone was hired internally. I find it quite unprofessional that it felt as though I was pulling teeth for any update I got.

I was shortlisted after 1 round of technical assesment which included apti SQL questions 2 easy programming questions. The interview was easy and the interviewer was good. Hr called me before the process to confirm my details.
