I applied for an administrative assistant position online and arrived on site on time. I was shown to the room where the interview was to take place and told to wait a few minutes.
I waited half an hour until the two gentlemen who were supposed to interview me arrived, and no one came to check on me or explain the delay in the meantime.
Then, they told me they wanted to interview me for the position of court reporter instead of the one I'd actually applied for, and I was totally unprepared.
They also told me I wouldn't be paid for the first six months during my training period and would collect my earnings afterwards. Additionally, I would be reporting to a different location at a different time every day with less than a days notice using my own car to go potentially as much as 40 miles in one direction. They do not reimburse for transportation costs.
By the time I left I'd already decided I didn't want the job, but they offered it to me anyways. The pay was very low for the amount of flexibility they expected you to have and offered only 5 days of combined PTO a year.
Needless to say, I did not accept the offer and don't recommend working for this company to anyone.
