The process was relatively quick and nothing technically insane, but the behavioral interview was where a lot of cracks started to show. As I asked about things of "work-life" balance and how they treat their interns, I just got asked in return if I want to work "many hours" from both the head of engineering and the CEO himself. They boast the best and brightest, yet seem to measure solely based on hours worked and code output instead of quality of work and reducing burnout. One manager that had interviewed me was missing his daughter's birthday because of the interview, which is crazy in itself.
