If you want to get selected in the company for sales development, brace yourself for the long process and never ending decision making.
I had one such experience in recent past, the recruit informed me about the tasks to be done for getting screen select. Post which 2 rounds of interview. I found this interesting and went ahead as video making as found it easier, but this is were it went wrong.
Post 2 rounds of interview and video they asked me to make a video assignment of about 15mins about there product demo. It surprises me that people at global level sales development are unable to make a decision post interview whether a candidate matches their preferences.
These people are just hungry for making the people work. It is strange that these decision makers find it okay to make a candidate go through so much assignments for a role which is entry level where they are looking for associate level people. And post this video also there is not guarantee that you will be selected.
I had already invested 2 weeks in this and looking at this im sure the decision making will again take 2 weeks.
