The first interview was a resume based phone interview. It consisted of questions about my current work, my work background, and why I was looking for a new job.
The second interview was an in person interview. It was also resume based with a small excel based skills test.
The third interview was simply a phone call asking why I wanted to work for the company. They were torn between two finalists and they eventually hired both finalists.
My initial perception was hesitant because I didn't feel like this company had a grasp on its strategic direction. Also, the guy that interviewed me sounded like a frat boy jerk kind of guy from a movie (I was in a fraternity myself so I'm not knocking fraternities but he was the image that is portrayed in the media). I shook it off because I really needed a job and the place I was at was only contracted for a year. Keep in mind I was looking for a job during peak of the recession as a recent graduate. I was desperate. I hope you aren't.
