I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at NeuroFlow (Philadelphia, PA) in Oct 2021
Interview
There was an initial call with their recruiter. Then there was 90-minute technical screen (zoom). Then there was about 2 hours of cultural interviews (also zoom).
There was a *lot* of patting on the back for their values. I was definitely picking up some Jonestown vibes. The COO in particular seemed particularly fixated on it, and even insisted on asking if I could commit to working 3-5 years at the company. I get the impression that Neuroflow thinks loyalty is owed to it rather than earned.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Systems design: How would I design a system that would allow physicians to send surveys to their patients on a certain schedule (e.g. every 7 days).
Thank you for your feedback. It’s true, at NeuroFlow we care a lot about our values because they reflect who we are and how we work together. Our values were very intentionally created to foster a highly functioning, adaptable, and collaborative environment where people can grow and develop as the company also grows and develops. Who wants to work at a company where it’s churn and burn anyway?
